From February 15th to May 15th all fashion brands, creative minds, designers, artists, directors, specialized magazines, national and international production companies, can present their fashion films without limits of age and nationality, at the Fashion Film Festival Milano 5th Edition, so the production of the short film “Brunilde” decided to send the work for the first selection.
Shot totally in the village of the most characteristic and ancient of Italy, Orta, which overlooks the shores of the homonymous lake and houses the beautiful San Giulio Island, in Italy, sees the Direction of Richard “Rico” Reina, Director of photography Lucas Mc Call, production Personal Reporter and actress Rebecca Bizzaro, involved a crew of 12 people for 3 days with the help of 2 drones for aerial shots.
The enthralling story set in the streets of the village, in Piazza Motta, in the ancient Palazzo Penotti Ubertini and Villa Gippini of the Hotel San Rocco with floating jetty (where the last scene was filmed with a characteristic boat of the lake), has seen the protagonist wearing the “Brunilde” High Fashion Dress with a cloqué silk corolla skirt and silver motif made exclusively on a design by Roxana Pansino.
The goal of many fashion houses is to communicate the soul of the brand through visionary images created by talented filmmakers and is exactly the focus of Fashion Film Festival Milano, which expresses fashion in an artistic way, with a strong focus on photography , editing, music, aesthetics, ethical and poetic sense.
Fashion Film Festival Milan away from purely commercial purposes, tells fashion by widening the vision of the world and modernity as a new means of communication used by fashion to express itself in the digital age. The selected films will be screened in the prestigious Anteo Spazio Cinema in Milan during the 5th edition of the festival as part of the Milan Women’s Fashion Week.

FFFMilano, with the patronage of the Italian Chamber of Fashion and the City of Milan, during the fashion week in September and held at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema, presents a rich program of screenings and thematic activities. The winning categories are: Best documentary, Best experimental fashion film, Best new stylist or brand, Best new director, Best new Italian fashion film, Best new fashion film, Best fashion film, Best director, Best photography, Best editing , Best Music and Best Production.
For the 2018 edition a special invitation is extended to representatives of Sustainable Fashion: a new category, the “Best Green Fashion Film”, will be dedicated to the best fashion film that will show a sustainable reality within the international fashion scenario. Instead, he confirmed the project #FFFMILANOFORWOMEN, a rouge file for this edition.
